Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 3 - Strahan

Founded in 1877, there are numerous historic buildings in Strahan. The railway ran to the Strahan Port from the mining towns of Zeehan and Queenstown. Once the railways closed it went into decline but with the declaration of the Wild Rivers National Park it has became a major tourist centre. We loved the outdoor play 'The Ship that Never Was' (top right)
